The BlueOval Charge Network is the largest public charging network in North America offered by Ford, with over 75,000 charging locations and growing. In addition, the BlueOval Charge Network has the most DC fast charging locations in North America, with over 4,000 and growing. When you buy a Ford EV, you gain access to the BlueOval Charge Network through a single app, FordPass. This allows you to find chargers, pay-as-you-go, and plan a route with charging.
How do I pay for public charging?
As a Ford EV owner, you are able to use the FordPass App to activate and pay for charging at any charger in the BlueOval Charge Network. You can also access 250 kWh complimentary charging at any Electrify America station. First, you will open the FordPass App, select View Chargers, adjust your filters, choose your charge station location, pick your charging speed, then plug in. When you’re done charging, the credit card in your FordPay Wallet will be billed for the session.
What is the FordPass App?
The FordPass App puts your all-electric vehicle ownership experience right in the palm of your hand. Access complimentary remote features, like start/stop, lock/unlock, schedule a start, locate your Ford EV, and vehicle status check on the FordPass App when your vehicle is equipped with Fordpass Connect. Know how far you can go before needing a charge with Intelligent Range, which you can monitor in your FordPass App.
How do I find EV public chargers?
If you are using your FordPass App, your will start by selecting “View Chargers.” Next, you can select from a few filters like charge speed and Ford Network. Then apply filters, and boom, there are all your available public charging stations. If you prefer to use your Fords SYNC screen, you will go to the Navigation screen, select “Where To,” then chooses chargers and adjust your filters.
